Just a little while
As we grow older, we understand the importance of love: how much it shapes us, how much it dictates the reality we live in, how much we yearn to feel it in all regions of our life, and how it constitutes a true relationship.
When we love ourselves and others our reality alters. Hostility or friendliness are the options we experience when we trust in the power of love. Our reality changes in simple ways when we start to believe in ourselves, have a deep-rooted passion for exploring ourselves, and hope for humanity.
Sometimes we are met with malice when we attempt to explain our future endeavors. People laugh. People trust. People disagree. I am not sure who said following your dreams was easy. I am not sure why people don't talk about how hard it is to find your true self. The deeper you dig, the more you will feel. The more you feel, the more you understand. The more you understand, the more knowledge you collect and we all know knowledge is power.
The route we aspire to live in isn't all rosy and pretty. It can’t be. While I hope to conquer the impossible and cultivate change, I also must know a lot is going to happen to get me there. I can’t just wake up one day and expect the whole world to know who Chelsey Grace Jacobs is. It is with each step, each day, and each courageous act will I then start to empower us and turn on the light of self-love. It is with each second that I love myself more, others will love themselves more.
The best thing that has ever happened to me was discovering the power of self-trust; knowing that no matter where life takes me, how much money I have in my bank account, or where the next meal comes from, I will be more than okay. The more you self-rely, the more you self-explore.
Within the power of love, the power of pain trails within its shadow. While we explore love, we must know what’s on the other side of the coin. When we love something so much, we at times experience pain. The funny thing is you can’t fight it. You can’t fight whatever the world presents in front of you. When we resist what is shown to us, the further we get from our true selves. We want what we love to reside within the golden ratio. We want what we love to last forever. But that’s not how our world works. We won’t even last forever on this earth.
Nothing lasts forever.
We're only here for a little while. While we're here, we get to play with the combination of trusting ourselves and trusting our hearts. Those two go together organically. We go together with the world organically. We are meant to be here, we are meant to love, and we are meant to experience pain.
With the deep trust that everything will work out, everything will.
Love a little stronger, listen a little louder, and see a little brighter
