As far below is as far above

The biggest difference between the cemeteries in America and out in Florence is that in America, you believe your loved one is at the grave when you visit. It is meant to make you feel like they are stuck underground, completely disconnected from the world above. In Florence, you believe that they are within you, within this air, and within this universe. They are underground but they are above us and all around us constantly. Their physical form has been put to rest, but energy cannot be destroyed nor recreated. Nonetheless, we are here forever whether that’s expressing ourselves through a physical vessel or through a different dimension.
